My story (the human version)

I’m both the founder of sunbear RUNNING and a fellow traveler on the corporate highwire. I’ve lived the “train when you can” reality — early mornings, lunch break runs, and squeezing workouts between meetings and family life.

Years ago, I entered a fast-paced executive track in the insurance world. The pressure was real, the hours were long, and life got full in a hurry. During that stretch I also became a father — and like a lot of people, I felt the slow drift: less energy, more stress, and the sense that my body was getting less resilient.

Running became my anchor: not because it was easy, but because it was simple. Lace up. Show up. Repeat. Over time it turned into something bigger — a way to build confidence, steadiness, and momentum in the rest of life.

I’m not here to sell magic workouts or “secrets.” I’m here to make running feel doable and sustainable — especially for people with real schedules.
